The 5th Sub-Regional Global Framework for the Progressive Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases (GF-TADs) Meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was held on 9 October 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh (P. R.), back-to-back with the Eighth Meeting of SAARC Chief Veterinary Officers (CVOs) Forum held on 10 to 11 October 2023.
The meeting shared the progress of GF-TADs at Global, Regional and Sub-regional Levels, updated on transboundary animal disease (TADs) control in the SAARC region, and reviewed and revised the Priorities disease and sub-regional workplan for controlling TADs in the SAARC sub-region.
