Regional Representation for Asia and the Pacific

Header

The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH, founded as OIE) maintains Representations in the following regions: Africa, Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Middle East. The goal of these Representations is to provide regionally adapted services to Members so they may strengthen the surveillance and control of animal diseases in the region.

WOAH Regional Representation for Asia and the Pacific (RRAP) was established in Tokyo, Japan in 1992, following endorsement by the 58th World Assembly of Delegates (1990). The RRAP works in close collaboration with Headquarters, the Sub-regional Representation for South East Asia (SRR-SEA), and the Regional Commission for Asia, the Far East and Oceania to facilitate the practical implementation of a mission to improve animal health and welfare in the region.
