Scoping Phase Workshop 2 for the Nature for Health Project in Mongolia

Mongolia was selected as one of six recipient countries for the Nature for Health (N4H) Initiative. Following the kick-off workshop for the project in December 2023, a second workshop was held in January 2024, during which participants started to develop activities for the Implementation Phase. This workshop was part of the Scoping Phase for the N4H project in Mongolia. Participants from across sectors — animal health, human health and the environment — met to share their experiences and perspectives.

WOAH is the lead implementing agency of the project in Mongolia, and organised the hybrid “Scoping Phase Workshop for the Nature for Health Project in Mongolia” in association with SCVL and GAVS in January 2024. There were 39 participants. The workshop content included a mixture of plenary presentations, group work, and question and answer discussions. A final workshop in February/March 2024 will further work on developing activities to be implemented during the project.
