Focus on interactions with wildlife and the environment

On World Wildlife Day (WWD), events globally allow stakeholders to exchange ideas and raise interest in wildlife conservation. This year, the World Organisation for Animal Health in Asia and the Pacific focuses on interactions between people and wildlife – encouraging everyone to “Enjoy Nature Safely”.

WOAH encourages Members in Asia and the Pacific to celebrate WWD. Communication materials on pandemic preparedness and safe encounters with wildlife are freely available for Members to use now and at future events. The aim of new regional materials is to improve understanding of the potential risks of interactions with wildlife and nature, and how to mitigate them.

Regional video “reels” and social media cards

Below are the videos and social media cards for promotion in English and selected regional languages. Feel free to tag WOAH when using the materials (X: WOAH_Asia, Facebook: worldanimalhealth, Instagram: worldanimalhealth). These materials were funded by the European Union.
