20th Meeting of the East Asia Wildlife Health Network

The 20th Meeting of the East Asia Wildlife Health Network was held on June 17, 2026, with 19 participants.

There were two main agenda items at the meeting. The first was a presentation on Avian health & migratory pathways by Dr. Won young Lee from the Korea Polar Research Institute, Republic of Korea. The presentation file is available here.

The second item was an information exchange among network members. Participants from Japan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong SAR, and the Republic of Korea kindly shared the latest updates on wildlife health issues.

It was decided that the topic for the 21st meeting will be “Control strategies for wildlife diseases”, and it will be held on September 16, 2026.
