Summary

The WOAH Pacific Wildlife Health Network (PWHN) held its 10th meeting on 11 June 2026. The meeting was attended by representatives from Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Japan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, United States of America, Wildlife Conservation Society, WOAH and the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP).

The meeting focused on the topic of One Health governance and implementation in Oceania – capacity building needs, policy tools and upcoming SPREP support. The meeting featured two experts in this field who were invited to deliver presentations outlined below:
