9th meeting of the East Asia Wildlife Health Network
The 9th meeting of East Asia Wildlife Health Network was held on 27 September 2023. The meeting had two main agenda items:
- A presentation on “vaccination for wildlife”. We invited Dr. Mary Donahue from USDA APHIS Veterinary Services to deliver a presentation, titled “Restricted Use of HPAI Vaccine in California Condors“. Dr Donahue kindly shared the presentation file, which can be found in the link.
- The second agenda item was to exchange updated information among network members. Participants representing the People’s Republic of China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong SAR and the Republic of Korea kindly shared the latest information on wildlife health issues.
It was decided that the topic for the 10th meeting will be “Tick-borne Diseases”. The meeting is planned to take place on 11 December 2023.
