Leptospirosis and wildlife health in the Pacific: A One Health approach

The WOAH Pacific Wildlife Health Network (PWHN) held its 8th meeting on 9 July 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives from Australia, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, CSIRO ACDP, SPC, SPREP, FAO and WHO.

The meeting focused on the topic of Leptospirosis and Wildlife Health in the Pacific: A One Health Approach, selected by members of the network. The meeting featured two experts in this field who were invited to deliver presentations outlined below:

The 9th meeting for the PWHN will be scheduled later in 2025 with a topic chosen from ideas previously put forward by participants.
