Header

Background

As part of the WOAH consultancy to support the development and review of the National Rabies Strategy for Lao PDR, a two-day in-person consultation meeting with all relevant stakeholders is proposed. This finalisation workshop will convene technical experts from both the animal and public health sectors to review and refine the draft Strategic Plan for Rabies Prevention and Control. Discussions will include an update on the current rabies situation in Lao PDR, the agreement on key objectives for inclusion in the National Strategic Plan, the design of practical implementation strategies, and the establishment of a realistic timeline for delivering these One Health-led rabies control measures.
