Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS)

Cyclical in nature, the PVS Pathway of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH, founded as OIE) provides a robust mechanism for the continuous improvement of national Veterinary Services,  through a staged approach using a set of proven tools and methods to evaluate, plan, cost and support the strengthening of national Veterinary Services. These stages, and the options for member Country engagement within each of them, are presented in the following diagram:
