Activities in Asia and the Pacific

Header

The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Regional Representation for Asia and the Pacific (RRAP) and Sub-Regional Representation for South East Asia (SRR-SEA) have been spearheading many activities on rabies control in animals to support the elimination of dog-mediated human rabies in the Asia Pacific Region. The organisation supports its Members in areas of capacity building (e.g., laboratory diagnostics training in collaboration with WOAH Reference Centers), intersectoral coordination enhancement, and access provision to its rabies vaccine bank.

Sub-regional Meetings (Regional Tripartite)

We have organised key events on rabies in collaboration with the regional tripartite (WOAH, the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization, or FAO, and the World Health Organization, or WHO) and other partners.

Activities conducted in collaboration with Reference Laboratories
